DIGITAL ARTWORK - PHONE WALLPAPERS
Project Overview
Stunning, vibrant and abstract wallpaper artwork. These are my series of code art experiments made with an interesting design software called Filter Forge.
I love the chaotic nature of fine-tuning every outcome into something new that expresses a different atmosphere and emotion of colours and form. Unlike AI word prompt solutions, this process is made simply by using mathematical formulas and nodes. For example, using effects such and RGB channels and distorting that outcome with noise, then using effects such as refraction that distort that outcome and so on. Developing unique artwork that AI cannot create.
As mentioned, the process uses various plugins of code and effects.
Below is a step by step of how each effect applied leads to the final result...
Left to Right Nodes Process
1. Noisy Coloured Static: Three separate Grain Nodes plugged into an Assemble lab Node.
2. Soft Gradient: Node scaled by zooming in.
3. Rainbow Cloud Texture: Assemble lab Node plugged into a New Distortion Node.
4. Distorted Static Swipe: New Distortion plugged into a Refraction Node with Perlin Noise.
5. Final Abstract Wallpaper Result: Refraction Node plugged into a 2nd and Final New Distortion Node.

I'll be honest, I discovered these abstract patterns completely by accident. Or at least that is how it felt. But it did take lots of experimentation and learning Filter Forges Node Editor. Anyway, thank you for checking out my project !
